Thomas R. Brown Associates, Inc. was started in 1983 by Tom Brown, Broker and President. The firm was founded to serve the Colorado Springs Commercial Real Estate market in the leasing, marketing, and management of commercial properties. From the beginning, the goal was to offer quality professional services in the Colorado Springs Commercial Real Estate market.  As a boutique commercial real estate firm, the emphasis is on atruly full-service approach. Inaddition to Marketing, Management and Leasing of commercial real estate, Thomas R. Brown Associates, Inc. represents Owner/Investors and Tenants in Zoning Issues, Tax Appeals, Construction Management, Tenant Representation and Lease Analysis. The database of past and present clients include: banks, corporations, private investors, tenants and the RTC. Services are available on a commission or fee-based schedule. Specialties include distressed and problem properties, re-development and start-to-finish projects. THOMAS R. BROWN, CCIM Being born into a real estate/construction family from Iowa should have convinced anyone not to pursue a career in real estate. But such was not the case. After being recruited by Colorado Springsí largest real estate firm in 1973, Mr. Brown quickly established himself in the local real estate market, winning numerous awards for sales and production, and eventually becoming branch-broker and vice-president for one of Coloradoís largest real estate companies.  In 1983, he started Thomas R. Brown Associates, Inc., a Colorado Springs commercial real estate firm serving Colorado Springs and the surrounding area. His involvement in the local Realtor organization include numerous committees and positions, including President, and is the only member of the local Board to have received the Realtor-Salesman of the Year, Realtor of the Year and Commercial- Realtor of the Year awards. On a state level, Mr. Brown was active for many years including District Vice-President for the Colorado Association of Realtors. He was awarded membership in Omega Tau Rho by the National Association of Realtors for his work. Participation with the City of Colorado Springs and El Paso County include multiple committees as well as Chairmanship of the El Paso Planning Commission.
